How to Wear Pearl Stone?

Once you have been prescribed to wear a gemstone, the question arises – What is the right way to wear this gemstone?

Another important aspect is to ensure that the gemstone is touching the wearer’s skin properly after being studded in a Ring, Pendent or any other jewelry piece.

Pearl is worn as Ring or pendant made of silver metalor any white metal. Pearl Ring is worn in Little finger or Ring finger of the working hand on Monday. Men should wear the ring in right hand (Left Hand for left-handed people and the Right Hand for right-handed people) while women can wear in any hand as per choice and convenience. Take a bath and then sit or stand somewhere clean and place the bowl in front of you with some fruits, flowers, sandal and Incense sticks ang pray to your adorable god-goddess and Chant big mantra 11 times and the short mantra 108 or 111 timesfor the planet for which the Gemstone has been prescribed.
For example if you have been prescribed a Pearl (moti), you would be generally advised to wear it on monday and the Mantra would be 'Om Cham Chandraye Namah’, “ॐचम्चन्द्राये नमः” ’which should be Chanted 108 times. Same is the case with other Gemstones. By doing this step we are asking the concerned planet to bless us. This step is called Praan-Pratishtha or Establishment of the Gemstone. After this you can wear the Gemstone.
