How to Wear Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) Stone?

As per the Indian astrology, each planet has been assigned a particular Finger,metal and time in which its gemstone gives fruitful results. Pukhraj is worn as Ring made of Gold, Silver or Panchdhatu metal should be worn in Index Finger on Thursday for astrological reasons. Thursday is the day for Jupiter. Hence Pukhraj is worn on Thursday only. It can be studded in Gold,Silver,Yellowpanchdhatu metal. If worn as Ring, Men can wear Pukhraj in Index-finger of Right Hand of the working hand (Left Hand for left-handed people and the Right Hand for right-handed people) while Women can wear in any hand as per choice and comfort. For example if you have been prescribed aPukhraj, you would be generally advised to wear it on Saturday and the Mantra would be Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah, “ॐबृंबृहस्पतयेनमः” which should be Chanted 108 times. Same is the case with other Gemstones. By doing this step we are asking the concerned planet to bless us. This step is called Praan-Pratishtha or Establishment of the Gemstone.
